Protect your IoT and OT devices with Zscaler Cellular: an M2M SIM solution where security is integrated directly into mobile connectivity. The SIM card routes data traffic via the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform, where traffic is inspected and access rules are applied centrally—without additional software on the device or a traditional VPN connection.

  • How much does an M2M SIM card cost on a monthly or annual basis?

    The price of an M2M SIM card is determined by the selected data package (Pooled, pay as you go, or prepaid) and any additional services such as voice, SMS, or fixed IP. M2M Data would be happy to explore with you the most suitable option for your specific needs and requirements. Prices start from €0.30 per month.

  • What are your opening hours?

    We are available 24/7; in case of emergency, you can always call us. For general questions, we are available from 08:00 to 22:30 by email, phone, or WhatsApp.

  • How can I renew my subscription?

    You will be provided with a portal, and you decide whether to pause the SIM card or remove it from billing by permanently stopping it. With us, you are in complete control.

  • Could you explain the concept of data pooling and how it can be beneficial for me?

    By using data pooling, you have the option to combine the data bundles of multiple M2M SIM cards from M2M Data. This means that the data bundles of these SIM cards can be shared with each other, resulting in more efficient use of your data bundle and slower depletion of your allocated data bundle. Suppose you have 30 M2M SIM cards, and each card comes with a data bundle of 100 MB per month. If one of the SIM cards exceeds the 100 MB limit, you typically exceed your data bundle. However, with data pooling, you can combine the data from all M2M SIM cards, ensuring you do not go over your bundle. In this scenario, you can use a total of 3000 MB of data (30 x 100 MB or 15 SIM cards x 150 MB, and 15 SIM cards consume 50 MB, then the total usage remains 3000 MB).

  • Why are we using eSIMs more and more often?

    As technology advances, it is not uncommon for changes to encounter some resistance. In the case of the eSIM, however, the opposite is true: it brings with it a great number of conveniences. In this article, we delve deeper into the benefits of using an eSIM card, whether you are already familiar with it or not. The most important advantage of using an eSIM is that the provider can "program" the SIM card. This means that if something changes in your contract, the provider can simply activate the device with an eSIM, so you do not have to wait for a new physical card. As a result, the activation process for new devices is significantly faster and requires no extra effort from the user. However, the benefits are not limited to just one party! The manufacturer also reaps the rewards of using eSIMs. Due to their permanent integration into the device, the occurrence of errors is significantly reduced and the chance of installation errors is virtually eliminated.

  • What is 4G backup and how does it work?

    Internet backup failover (commonly known as 4G backup) means that if your primary connection fails, your connection automatically switches to a backup of your internet service. It acts as a second line to the main internet connection. Adding internet backup to your current fiber optic internet can provide the redundancy needed to prevent future business interruptions. The solution involves the use of a 4G or 5G LTE data plan. LTE Failover is a data-based plan, similar to that for smartphones. The LTE service you receive with this failover solution includes the agreed data volume. In short: when your wired network fails, your router switches to the wireless network you are using on your phone.

  • How does 4G backup / internet failover work?

    Once a business 4G 5G router is installed, the router can identify when a fixed internet connection has failed. As soon as it detects that the primary service is disconnected, the modem automatically switches to the 4G Backup service to support internet connectivity via mobile broadband. Mobile internet is enabled by the built-in SIM, which covers multiple networks per country. With 4G Backup, the router can restore internet connectivity to supply the LAN site and ensure your company's key processes. A short period of downtime will be experienced when this rerouting takes place. Conversely, the same will happen when the router detects a successful (previously established) fixed internet connection. After a short delay, it automatically switches from the 4G Backup service to the primary fixed internet service.
