By using data pooling, you have the option to combine the data bundles of multiple M2M SIM cards from M2M Data. This means that the data bundles of these SIM cards can be shared with each other, resulting in more efficient use of your data bundle and slower depletion of your allocated data bundle. Suppose you have 30 M2M SIM cards, and each card comes with a data bundle of 100 MB per month. If one of the SIM cards exceeds the 100 MB limit, you typically exceed your data bundle. However, with data pooling, you can combine the data from all M2M SIM cards, ensuring you do not go over your bundle. In this scenario, you can use a total of 3000 MB of data (30 x 100 MB or 15 SIM cards x 150 MB, and 15 SIM cards consume 50 MB, then the total usage remains 3000 MB).

It acts as a second line to the main internet connection. Adding internet backup to your current fiber optic internet can provide the redundancy needed to prevent future business interruptions. The solution involves the use of a 4G or 5G LTE data plan. LTE Failover is a data-based plan, similar to that for smartphones. The LTE service you receive with this failover solution includes the agreed data volume. In short: when your wired network fails, your router switches to the wireless network you are using on your phone.

Once a business 4G 5G router is installed, the router can identify when a fixed internet connection has failed. As soon as it detects that the primary service is disconnected, the modem automatically switches to the 4G Backup service to support internet connectivity via mobile broadband. Mobile internet is enabled by the built-in SIM, which covers multiple networks per country. With 4G Backup, the router can restore internet connectivity to supply the LAN site and ensure your company's key processes. A short period of downtime will be experienced when this rerouting takes place. Conversely, the same will happen when the router detects a successful (previously established) fixed internet connection. After a short delay, it automatically switches from the 4G Backup service to the primary fixed internet service.
